Overview

We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Software Quality Assurance Analyst (SQA) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the quality and performance of our latest software application designed for the financial sector. Your responsibilities will involve creating and executing test plans, identifying defects, and working closely with the development team to ensure the application adheres to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities Areas

Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for our financial sector software application.

Conduct thorough testing to identify and document defects, ensuring that issues are resolved promptly.

Collaborate with the development team to understand software requirements and provide feedback on potential improvements.

Perform regression testing, performance testing, and user acceptance testing to ensure the application meets all functional and non-functional requirements.

Utilize automated testing tools where appropriate to enhance testing efficiency.

Ensure all testing activities are performed in compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Report on testing progress, issues, and results to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and timely communication.

Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying and recommending process enhancements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Proven experience in software quality control, particularly in the financial sector.

Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.

Experience with automated testing tools is a plus.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Familiarity with financial software applications and regulatory requirements is preferred.

Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practise & processes for a full-stack product development lifecycle desirable.
